Last night...

Someone was shot outside my house around 7:30 just shortly after getting back from my parents house. I spent 3 hours filling police reports, and just now the local media news van has pulled up. My Parking space is now a crime scene. I'm pretty shaken up. I was preparing dinner and getting ready for the raid and i heard outside " No don't do it, don't do it." and then the loudest thing I've ever heard. 3 extremely loud pops that were as loud as when a lighting bolt is right outside your house followed by screeching wheels. I was able to get the first 2 numbers off the tag and a description of the car for the police. Then they made me stand outside with them in the rain while like 60 police showed up.

It's been a crazy day and i'll be there tomorrow, sorry to hear we were short on priests.

Found out later he's alive but in critical condition. :(

Unfortunately these ugly things happen. It's shameful that upstanding citizens have to bare witness to such atrocities. That being said, the good in the world always outweighs the bad. I've been through such morbid happenings... different environment, but even still. Try not to over think the why, and focus more on the when. And, these things can be very traumatic so if you need someone to talk to... Find someone. I spoke with the random dude at the Seven Eleven many a night about my thoughts. It helped immensely. Sorry for rambling.

I mean i'm ok it's just kinda shocking, i live just outside of Atlanta so this kind of thing happens all the time, but i'm from a smaller town state of mind and have never had something like this happen SO close to home. It turns out it was gang related, the Latin Kings or something. My lease is up in 2 months and i'm getting the hell out.

I thought they did a big sting on the Kings not too long ago. It mighta been last year though.

turns out the person who was shot...died, found that out today from a neighbor.

Move to Kennesaw. With every homeowner just about owning a gun bad people stay the hell away from the place.

Actually Niv city ordanance requires one of every household to be a part of the local malitia and so every household has at least one gun.
