If you've found your way to these forums, chances are you are looking to join Black Phoenix.
Guild Officers
You can contact any of the Class Leaders regarding their class needs.
http://forums.blackphoenix.us/forums/showgroups.php (See "BP Guild Officer")
*Are usually very busy when online handling guild tasks, please be considerate of this.
Please be advised that we are very picky about what people we choose to take into our ranks. We did not get as far as we have by taking anything but the best on our raids.
BP Raiding
We raid 5-6 days a week, starting around 8 p.m normally and usually stop when we can't field a raid anymore.
Expectations
We're a very active guild, and want active players. If you plan on logging in once or twice a week at raid times, this will not work.
Raiders are required to use Ventrilo and have the latest CTRA (or CTRA compatible such as oRA/oRA2) installed for maximum raid efficiency. If you do not have either of these installed, you will be asked to either get them or step out of the raid.
Gear-wise, you need to be at least in gear equivalent to the level of raiding we are currently at, for example, if we're clearing BT and Hyjal, you should have at least a full set of T5 gear.
Raiders are expected to know the basics of their class; this guild is not going to hold your hand through encounters. Class leaders are here to give basic instructions as they vary per boss, but we're not here to teach you how to play your class. Either you know how to play your class or you can go find another guild.
We take our raiding very seriously, but we also have a lot of fun. Work hard, play hard. Ventrilo/Guild Chat is rated R so if foul language offends you, you may want to look somewhere else.
We have a large guild bank and are able to provide our raiders with lots of consumables for certain fights, this does not mean you get a free ride. Raiders are expected to help out with farming whenever they can. Farming is a big portion of what you are needed for outside of raids. Whether it's farming materials, or farming gold to buy materials, we need whatever help we can get to keep the bank going.
Also, if you have a problem with dying and repair bills, this is not the guild for you. We are always on the cutting edge and learning new encounters, with this comes lots of dying and repair bills.
If you think you have what it takes, feel free to contact an officer to discuss more.
